13th Session of Eighth National Review Committee of Pesticide Registration held in Beijing
The 13th Session of the Eighth National Review Committee Meeting of Pesticide Registration held in Beijing on July 31st, 2013.
Review Committee members reviewed zinc borate and other 11 pesticide products, and re-evaluated
Metazachlor and five other pesticide products. Moreover, the Meeting also had special sessions on "the control of long-term residual herbicides' and "risk assessment and control measures of fly coil'.
Chen Youquan, DDG of Department of Crop Protection of MOA addressed the Meeting. Sui Pengfei, DG of
ICAMA and Gu Baogen, DDG of ICAMA also attended the Meeting, while Ye Jimin, DDG of ICAMA chaired the Meeting.
34 Review Committee members attended the Meeting, representing 22 institutes, such as MOA, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Environment Protection, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, etc.
